Founded in 1850, Omer-Decugis & Cie is a family-owned group (ISIN code : FR0014003T71 – mnémonique : ALODC) which specialises in fresh fruit and vegetables, particularly exotic ones, for European consumers (69% in France; 31% in Europe). The Group covers the entire value chain from production to import and has specific expertise in ripening. The Group markets fruit sourced mainly from Latin America, Africa and Europe through all distribution networks (large and medium-sized retailers, institutional and commercial catering,
specialised distribution and fresh cuts). Its activities are split between its subsidiaries SIIM, Bratigny and OD Ressources, which market its brands Dibra, Don Ed’s Legendary Pineapple, Elit, Fine, Selvatica, Terrasol, Le Marché, Croq’Apy, as well as those of its suppliers. Established in the Rungis market, Omer-Decugis & Cie generated turnover of €137.6 million in 2021, representing over 119,000 tonnes of fresh fruits and vegetables distributed.
Omer-Decugis & Cie Group’s international import company (abbreviated SIIM) is a reference on the tropical fruit and vegetable market in Europe and a leader in Africa. Its flagship products are bananas, pineapples, mangoes and ripe fruits, small exotic fruits and premium tropical fruits and vegetables. Active in production in Africa and Latin America, SIIM has its own logistics network in France and Spain, from where it serves all European markets. Founded in 1978, SIIM is recognised for its quality and food safety standards (AEO approval). SIIM is a member of the BSCI, the United Nations Global Compact and it supports the Rainforest Alliance.
Bratigny is the wholesale division of the Omer-Decugis & Cie Group in Rungis and a long-standing player in the market. The company operates 16 doors in total in the D2 building at Rungis International Market and offers a wide variety of products: citrus fruits, bananas, exotic fruits and vegetables, beans and tomatoes.
Anarex is the wholesale subsidiary specializing in ethnic and exotic products located at the Rungis MIN. Directly attached to Bratigny, the bridgehead of the Group’s wholesale division, it has a 5-door store in building D3.
Founded in the summer of 2019, OD Ressources, which belongs to the Omer-Decugis & Cie Group, is dedicated to ripening and packaging for the Group. In particular, it is in charge of expanding the Group’s “ripening” products offering, which supplies all market segments.
SIIM Spain SL is the commercial entity of SIIM, which is dedicated to overseeing the Spanish market and managing major international accounts. It is based in Malaga.
