The Louis Omer-Decugis Foundation was created in 2014 – and extended in 2019 – to structure, perpetuate and develop the philanthropic actions of the Omer-Decugis & Cie Group.
Its mission is to work for the development of sustainable agriculture and to help communities in difficulty.
To carry out its mission, the Foundation supports, develops and encourages, in France and abroad, non-profit projects and initiatives of general interest, which contribute to the following four objectives:
Since it was created, the Louis Omer-Decugis Foundation has been involved in three major areas with sometimes porous borders, as can also be seen today with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which are part of the universal programme for the 2030 agenda for sustainable development adopted in September 2015 by the member countries of the United Nations.
In countries and regions where there are pockets of poverty, there is often a call for solidarity to support the development of projects, the priority issues of which are often health and education.
Through the projects it supports, the Foundation has made health and disability a strong and clear focus of its commitment, but it is also increasingly involved in the field of education, which is a challenge for its future development.
